Designer&Artist
I'm Ryah, a Jordanian-American designer and artist based in San Francisco. I am a lover of the little things: trinkets at antique markets, a perfectly popped piece of popcorn, the smell of fresh mint, sun on my skin, smiles from strangers.
My creative process started before I was even cognizant of its beginning — drawing on the paper tablecloth at a restaurant, doodling at any given moment, taking preschool arts and crafts lessons way too seriously. There has not been a moment of my life that did not revolve around creating something, anything.
My work experience is reflective of that same creative upbringing. I've worked in branding, marketing, digital design, and fine arts, blending creativity with strategy to create thoughtful, human-centered experiences. I primarily focus on digital design and building brand identities that feel honest, distinctive, and built to last. I'm drawn to storytelling, visual systems, and the beautifully imperfect parts of being human. I strive to create work that feels meaningful and genuinely connected to the people it's made for.
Outside of the creative realm, you'll find me exploring new places, climbing mountains, going to live shows, or spending time with the people who ground and inspire me. Oh, and hanging out with my cat and dog, Bruce & Brookes, both of whom couldn't care less about art or design.
