Deck of Cards

A fusion of drawing and design, this project features a hand-illustrated deck of nature-inspired playing cards. Each card pairs a specific flower with its rank - like a King Protea for the King card and Queen of the Night for the Queen. Numbered cards display the corresponding number of blooms, combining botanical symbolism with traditional card structure in a playful, artful way.

I created this as a long-term passion project, something creative I could return to over time. I knew I wanted it to serve a functional purpose, and since my friends and I are avid card players, a custom deck felt like the perfect way to bring art into everyday play.
